So far in April….

🌒 I saw the solar eclipse. It didnt get super dark in GA.

🍷We spent an afternoon at @paintedhorsewinery for my SIL’s birthday. It’s the perfect spot to grab a glass of wine and snacks. They even have live music. My niece and nephew loved the animals (the chickens!! Ha)

🥰 I was sent some skincare tools from @luvly.app and I’ll be sharing a review on Simply Stine soon!

💅 Had a girls night out and got a MUCH needed pedicure. We had Cheesecake Factory for dinner. You can’t go wrong with Salads and Avocado Egg Rolls.

🛒 Another Costco trip. I (stupidly) went on a Saturday afternoon. Stocked up on fruits, veggies, cheese, and I can’t get enough of the egg bites.

🇬🇧 I am slowly making my way through the latest Magnolia Parks book. I got my edition from @blackwellbooks if you want the OG artwork.

🎧 My latest Audiobook is First Lie Wins. At least four people in my family are reading it so we will have a book club discussion. Ha!

🍓For Easter I made a Strawberry Pie. It reminds me of home (Ohio…)

🚘💦🧼 I haven’t gotten to the car wash as often as I’d like BUT I take it weekly because this pollen is intense.

Coming Up:
-Mammogram (my first!)
-Possible Jury Duty (this is like my 5th time since moving to GA. Seems excessive)
-Signed up for Starz again because I want to watch the new Mary & George series!
-A massive book clean out and possible IG sale?!? Would you guys want a chance to buy them for cheap?!

This is my motto for 2024: It’s ok to start over. It’s ok to not get it right the first time. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It’s ok to have bad days. Try again tomorrow. We’re doing the best we can. Deep breaths. It’s ok.

It was HOT today. So hot that even the pool felt like 🔥 But I read for a little bit and then we had an unexpected storm so I went in and enjoyed the ac. The end.

This was quite possibly our best trip to 30A yet. We had great weather, ate so much amazing seafood, shopped, enjoyed the beach, and read. It was fantastic.

Trying to get back into the groove of posting twice a week again. So going with a Monday and Thursday post schedule for now.

•I’m into the new makeup look makeup look right now. I’ll share an updated routine soon.

-I’m going to start using Substack to email a weekly newsletter.

-I just added Bad Summer People and The Collected Regrets of Clover to my reading list (both available on @scribd soon!)

-I’m on the hunt for the Watermelon Lime @drinkolipop and I’ve had zero luck so far

-Thank goodness for @briogeo Scalp Revival product line.

-Going to FINALLY start The Summer I Turned Pretty.

-You can’t beat @treehut Shave Oil

-I’ve been taking daily walks outside. I leave my phone at home and take a break from it all.

🌒 I saw the solar eclipse. It didnt get super dark in GA.

🍷We spent an afternoon at @paintedhorsewinery for my SIL’s birthday. It’s the perfect spot to grab a glass of wine and snacks. They even have live music. My niece and nephew loved the animals (the chickens!! Ha)
